There it was, the newspaper article that would change the course of my life…

It described how people were starting to work from home or their local cafe, with clients all over the world.

All you needed was an internet connection and skills that would be helpful to other businesses. 

I had always loved working with computers and had an ongoing obsession with technology. 

The advent of the internet was a dream come true. I remember a friend showing me the website she had created. I knew I had to learn how to do this myself.

Reading that article came at just the right time. I had been feeling stressed about my corporate job. I felt stifled and knew that I wasn’t making the most of my skills.

I made the transition gradually, going part-time in my cubicle and then full-time in my business when I had enough clients.

I have worked with clients all over the world, helping them leverage the internet to grow their businesses. Most of my clients are business coaches, consultants and health practitioners.

My ideal working day is getting up early, doing yoga or going for a run, then spending the day working with clients.
